The Vision Behind White Lightening

Our customer’s goal is to create a truck that can deliver on the drag strip while also turning heads on the road. The aim is to build a vehicle that exudes power, performance, and reliability—a true hallmark of custom auto craftsmanship.

The Ford F150 is already revered for its toughness and versatility. By incorporating innovative modifications in our auto shop, we will elevate its performance metrics to a new level. We’re talking about enhancing the power output to over 1200 horsepower while maintaining a reliable ride.

Engine Modifications

The engine is the centerpiece of any notable custom build. White Lightening will feature the highly regarded Ford Coyote engine, recognized for its remarkable horsepower and torque.

Ford Performance has taken the Gen 4 Mustang GT 5.0L Coyote engine and created another in its series of "Aluminator" crate engines built to deliver higher performance. The 5.0 Aluminator is built with connecting rods and pistons designed specifically for high performance applications.

We will install a Whipple 3.0 Supercharger designed to significantly boost air intake, resulting in enhanced performance. A supercharger offers no lag compared to traditional turbo systems, and provides reliability for the both street and the strip. After precise tuning and verifying results on the dyno, we expect White Lightening to deliver thrilling acceleration and responsiveness, making it a standout on daily cruises and track days.

White Lightening will also receive a custom crank support, packed valve springs, a billet oil pump, and more upgrades we will share along the way.

Upgrading Transmission and Suspension

A truck’s suspension system is key to its overall performance. For White Lightening, we’ve selected a premium suspension setup tailored for both smooth road travel and track ready responsiveness.

The White Lightening's transmission will undergo a few upgrades to maximize its capabilities. We’ll install a Circle D billet torque converter as well as a Lund transmission tune, which will ensure smoother gear shifts and a more responsive driving feel.

Aesthetic Customizations

While performance is vital, aesthetic enhancements are equally important for any custom vehicle. The visual upgrades for White Lightening will keep a clean overall look while also letting you know what's under the hood. We are planning on a partial vinyl wrap designed in house, and showing off some manufacturer decals. A cohesive aesthetic will ensure that White Lightening isn’t just a performance machine but also a head-turner on the streets.
